Gold Lamborghini Aventador Model Worth Boosts to € 10.5 Million

German designer and car model specialist Robert Guelpen has created a unique 1/8 scaled model of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 composed of more than 1,400 diamonds, platinum and pure gold.

First of all the model was expected to reach € 3.5 million at an auction in December in New York. Now Sotheby´s, one of the most popular auctioneers, re-evaluates the worth of the model at € 10.5 million which is 65 times higher than the original Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4.

The price of the materials has been estimated at € 2.5 million, so the margin would be about € 8.0 million which exceeds the targeted objective of € 500,000 profit. Furthermore, Guelpen would get three entries in the Guinness Book of World Records for creating the world’s most expensive model car, the world’s most secure showcase and the world´s most luxurious logo.
