Following our yearly tradition its time for our Supercar of the Year 2011 nomination. This year we have added two more Awards: Hypercar of the Year 2011 and Supercar Photo of the Year 2011 next to our Awards for Tuner of the Year 2011 and Tuning Car of the Year 2011.
The nominees for all our categories have been selected based on votes from our editorial team and this year two prizes per category will be awarded, one Readers Choice Award based on the public vote below and one Editorial Award based on the opinions of our editorial team. All hypercars, supercars and tuning cars which had their first customer deliveries this year qualified to be nominated. The awards will be awarded on January 10th 2012 when the polls are closed.

Audi R8 GT Spyder
The Audi R8 GT is the exclusive and hardcore version of the R8 V10 Spyder. Limited to only 333 pieces and with 560hp it’s the best and most exclusive Audi on the market this year. Lighter is better!
Probably the oddest nominee for the title of Supercar of the Year 2011, the BAC Mono is a street legal track toy with 280hp and a power to weight ratio that surpasses that of the Bugatti Veyron.
BMW 1M Coupe
The BMW 1M Coupe has impressed us a lot this year with its 340hp strong six-in-line twin turbo engine. It set record after record at race tracks around the world and has become one of the most popular tuning objects of this year.
The Jaguar XKR-S offers a new level of fun and speed in a package that looks sporty and aggressive. The 5.0 liter V8 has been modified further to deliver 550hp and a top speed of 300km/h.
The new Lamborghini Aventador is the flagship of the Italian supercar manufacturer and one of the hottest cars of the year. The 6.5 liter V12 pushes out up to 700hp, good for a top speed of 350km/h and a 0-100km/h sprint in 2.9 seconds.
Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale
The Super Trofeo Stradale is based on the Lamborghini Gallardo Blancpain Super Trofeo race car and limited to only 150 units. Lighter and faster than the normal Gallardo and Superleggera, this is the most extreme Gallardo on the road.
Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition
Limited to only 50 pieces the Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition is a track focused version of the Lexus LFA with 570hp. Acceleration from 0-100km/h is done in 3.7 seconds and the top speed is 325km/h.
The eagerly awaited McLaren MP4-12C seen its first customer deliveries this year. The 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 is good for 0-100km/h in 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 330km/h.
Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster
As we promised last year 2010 was the year of the coupé, 2011 is the year of the convertible. The soft top SLS AMG roadster comes with a 6.3 liter V8 engine good for 563bhp and a top speed of 317km/h.
The Noble M600 offers true supercar performance with its 550hp strong 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 engine. 0-100km/h can be done in three seconds flat and the M600 tops out at 360km/h.
Porsche 991 Carrera S
The highly anticipated Porsche 991 Carrera S celebrated its debut this year and its a true 911. The 7th generation is lighter, longer and faster.
Porsche 997 GT3 RS 4.0
Limited to 600 vehicles, the 911 GT3 RS 4.0 brings together all the attributes that have made the Porsche 911 GT3 a serial winner on the race track and makes it available in a limited edition road car.
