First 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Delivered by Danica Patrick

The very first 2016 Chevrolet Camaro has just been delivered to its customer thanks to NASCAR driver Danica Patrick.

At a special event held at the Texas Motor Speedway, the lucky owner of the first customer sixth-generation Camaro was handed the keys to the car from Patrick. Additionally, Patrick signed the vehicle’s glove box while also giving the lucky owner a blast around the famed racing circuit.

The owner, Alican Boyacioglu said “Coming to the race and getting the VIP treatment was amazing, and I still can’t believe I get to drive the first 2016 Camaro away.”

As mentioned, Boyacioglu’s Camaro is the existing range-topping SS model. It is powered by a 6.2-litre naturally-aspirated V8 engine pumping out 455 hp and an equal 455 lb-ft of torque and is currently being offered alongside the four-cylinder turbo and V6 models.

In the near future, a selection of even faster and more hardcore Camaro models will be released.
