A video has emerged showing a chrome wrapped Lamborghini Murcielago from Russia which spun and crashed in the rain on the local Novorizhskoe highway. The car was said to be travelling at speeds exceeding 200 km/h when the crash happened, but there is more to it. What is normally an AWD car was in this case a RWD car as the drivetrain connection to the front wheels had been disconnected.

That and the fact that it was raining staged the perfect scene for the hard spin, further inspection proved that the rear wheels were taking more load than they could handle resulting to an aggressive swerve which of course was fueled by the rain and wet nature of the road.

No one was hurt in the 11 o’clock incident but this should serve as a reminder for motorists to put extra caution when driving under wet weather.
