German tuner Graf Weckerle has released their Collection Sport for the Audi R8. The program features lightweight multi-piece Graf Weckerle Collection Sport Forged Wheels, a new exterior paint and a series of technical upgrades.
The ultra lightweight aluminum wheel rims received a special high-gloss black coating, while the forged and machined wheel discs were polished to a brilliant finish. The aluminum center emblem has also been polished to highest luster, which gives great contrast to the engraved and hand-enameled Graf Weckerle brand logo which is placed in the wheel center.
From various coatings in matte or glossy colors to a noble hand-brushed PureMetal finish, all components of the Graf Weckerle Forged Wheels can be designed and produced to correspond to the personal taste. This Audi R8 has been equipped with wheels in dimensions 9×20 with tires 245/30 R20 at the front axle and 11×20 with tires 305/25 R20 on the rear axle.
The Coachline of this Audi R8 is finished in two shades of anthracite and it is accented by the characteristic Graf Weckerle brand logo which is positioned on the sideblade of the R8.
The Graf Weckerle engineers and designers decided to install a fully adjustable aluminum coilover suspension which is available for vehicles with or without magnetic ride damping system. The progressive coilover suspension improves both handling and looks.
The 4.2 FSI engine receives a remapped ECU and is joined by a handmade stainless steel exhaust system with exhaust flaps which can be regulated by a remote control. This set up raises the power output to 455hp. As a visual conclusion, the exhaust tips have been covered with a matte black ceramic coating.
