The first stories are popping up suggesting a new Nissan GTR upgrade to be unveiled early next year. Rumours are suggesting some evolutionary changes, including reworked aerodynamics, suspension, brakes and an improved twin-turbo V6 engine producing over 500hp and 450lb-ft of torque.
Exterior upgrades will be limited to only a new front splitter, rear diffuser and revised wing.
Insiders indicated to Autoblog.com that the revised GTR underwent a round of testing on the Nürburgring last month. It achieved better lap times. It is unknown what the exact times where.
They can easy achive 600BHP without compromise the price or the reliability.
over 500HP with a V6 engine…The GTR’s performance is really amazing but the exterior design is….okay. I hope Nissan changes the front bumper or something.
Pictures wrong, thats the CBA model Spec-V. The 2012 model looks different with the front bumper having more of those grooves beside the grill and an LED strip of light on either side of the grill on implimented on the top groove. Also, there are tiny ducts on the black trim on either side of the back bumper. These reduce the transmission temperatures. New color Pearl blue looks awesome and there is probably going to be about 530 HP improved over the current 480. Suspension and chassis major upgrades make this a 2nd generation coded DBA chassis with it replacing the old 1st gen CBA chassis code. Also the interior is slightly improved with the Spec M having an all red suede and alcantara interior.
BTW IMO the leds on the front are so ugly, and the Spec M interior doesn’t go with the car.
oh yeah forgot to add but a bit of the fat will be trimmed off. 26 pounds trimed with thew RAYS forged wheels.
