Car Crash: Drunk Driver Wrecks Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 in California

A drunk driver crashed his Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 into a central reservation on California’s northbound Interstate 15 last Saturday. NCTimes reports that the 35-year-old driver had been travelling at approximately 100mph in his red Lamborghini Murcielago LP640. Police believe that the accident was caused through drink driving.

The road was closed in both directions for about twenty minutes as one man was flown to UCSD Medical Center with burns. The crash happened around 11:20 PM on Saturday, just north of Mission Road near Fallbrook. Reports suggest that the car simply drifted from the right lane into the crash barrier, ripping the rear end off and setting the car on fire.

No other vehicles were involved and nobody else was hurt.
