The team behind the Ferrari P4/5 Competizione released a rendering of the P4/5 LMP today. They want to build an LMP1 car for the 2014 season and the redering represents the first step towards gaining sponsorship for the venture.
On October 27th P4/5 Competizione will return to The Nurburgring with a series of futher changes that improve the pace. It’s hoped that this will allow them to break the record for a Ferrari Powered car, going below the 6:51 time set earlier on. The race in question is part of the FIA World Championship Alternate Energy Cup, which they currently lead in class 7.

The LMP1 rules change for 2014 and so a car like the P4/5 Competizione would be well suited. The current setup includes a 4.0 liter V8 sourced from the 430 Scuderia and a Formula 1-style KERS system producing a peak output of 563 horsepower. No spec details have been planned for the LMP car yet but expect more power.
This may sign the return of a Ferrari powered car to Le Mans LMP, good luck!
