Mercedes proved very popular at the 2013 IAA Frankfurt Motor Show. We have already seen the 2014 S class and its the S class that featured on the stand but not as we’ve ever seen it
before.

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupé Concept showed that Mercedes still know how to create exciting and revolutionary design that we have not really seen in recent years but this car certainly caught some glances from the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show crowd! Most importantly, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe Concept is powered by a V8 Bi-Turbo engine delivering a total of 455hp from its 4.7-liter displacement. Peak output is then rated at 700Nm. While this new powerplant certainly is impressive, it’s arguably overshone by the numerous other technical components of the car.

The second S Class on the stand had been tinkered with by the magical engineers at AMG. The Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG. Under the bonnet, the Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG features a familiar AMG 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine. Power is pegged at 585hp with torque of 900Nm. Drive can be optioned with the AMG all-wheel-drive system 4MATIC or kept standard with a more traditional rear wheel drive setup. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.0 to 4.4 seconds, depending on model variant, and the top speed is 250 km/h (which is electronically limited)
