The Ferrari 458 Speciale and Audi R8 V8 are two absolutely breathtaking performance machines and when left standard, produce truly addictive engine and exhaust notes. That fact doesn’t dissuade some owners from fitting aftermarket exhausts to both vehicles or in this case, complete straight pipe systems.
Recently filmed in the tunnels of Monaco revving alongside each other, the cars sound absolutely incredible. The 458 Speciale howls just like the very best V8-powered Ferraris and in the confines of the tunnel, would leave Formula One fans in total awe. It also manages to spit bright blue flames.
As for the R8 V8, it has a more typical V8 sound in that it burbles and roars rather than howls or screams like the Ferrari.
