In 2014, Tesla Motors produced around 33,000 cars. By the time 2025 rolls around however, the Silicon Valley based electric automaker could be producing millions of vehicles by 2025 if Elon Musk is to be believed.
One of the key factors which will help Tesla reach such annual sales figures will be the release of the entry-level Tesla Model 3 as well as its subsequent success. Also in the near future, the Tesla Model X will reach the market.
Beyond the launch of these new models, Tesla will need to construct more production facility with plans for a Chinese production facility already laid out. Additionally, the Tesla gigafactory will open in the coming years.
