The Ford GT. Designed as a spiritual and road-going successor to the legendary GT40 racing car, its 5.7-litre supercharged V8 engine delivers a potent 550 hp. With that power combined with handling which is uncharacteristically American, its little wonder why the Ford GT remains so popular to this day.
Due to the rigidity of the engine, it has also become particularly popular to modify and tune and the following Gulf Racing painted GT is one of the most powerful and brutal examples we’ve stumbled across. As a matter of fact, while recently on the dyno, it churned out a truly incredible 1894 hp and 1438 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels. Translate that into engine power, and it is well over 2000 hp!
