First Quarter Maserati Sales up 420%

Maserati’s expansion is beginning to pay dividends with the Italian marque confirming that deliveries have increased by 420 per cent for the first quarter of this compared to the same time period last year.

All up, 1837 Maseratis found new homes in January, February and March. What’s more, deliveries for April alone are up 333 per cent over the same month last year with a total of 507 cars being delivered.

Of these, 130 were registered in the UK which is an incredible 665 per cent increase compared to April last year. Unsurprisingly, much of Maserati’s recent success is coming from the launch of the Maserati Ghibli, the revised Quattroporte as well as the diesel powered Maseratis.

Last year, Maserati managed to deliver 15,400 vehicles. By 2018, it hopes that it will reach 75,000 units and with the Maserati Levante SUV and Maserati Alfieri sports car both to be on the roads by then, that goal certainly seems achievable on the back of these results.
