Texas Invitational 2014 took place recently at the Cado Mills Airstrip in… Texas! The event is run by Texas Speed Syndicate. Cash prizes were on offer for the winners of the King of the Streets competition (worth $3,000), the quickest 6-speed manual winner collecting $1,500, the fastest 6-speed collecting $1,000, and the fastest automatic winning $1,000.
This year, the competitors were diverse. More than 20 1,000+ horsepower Nissan GT-R’s took part, a 1600-1700 hp Toyota Supra, numerous twin turbocharged Lamborghini Gallardo’s, twin turbocharged Corvettes.
