While a 1700hp Nissan GT-R Alpha 12+ by AMS Performance recently proved itself to be the king of the 1 mile drag race, heavily modified Chevrolet Corvette’s continue to dominate such races, including shorter half mile races, with a supercharged ‘Vette recently hitting 173mph at the Houson Half Mile.
The following video was shot by Hightechcorvette on YouTube and was filmed at the Houston Half Mile event which took place at the Ellington air field. It’s currently unclear just how much power this Chevrolet Corvette is producing, but thanks to its massive supercharger, a figure well over 800hp is likely!
