A bright red McLaren 12C has been destroyed by fire after catching flames in London, England recently.

It’s currently unclear how the inferno began, but based on the following pictures, it definitely seems to have originated from the engine bay making this McLaren 12C just the latest in a long line of supercars to have been destroyed by fire in recent years.

McLaren 12C Burns in London, England

As you may recall, the McLaren 12C’s main rival, the Ferrari 458 Italia was recalled a couple of years ago after numerous units caught fire, so fingers crossed the fire of this McLaren 12C was not caused by any manufacturing faults.

Nevertheless, it’s clear that this particular McLaren 12C will never see the open road again unless it’s carried on the back of a truck to the local scrap yard.
