NASCAR team owner and founder of the Hendrick Automotive Group, Rick Hendrick was officially handed the keys to the very first 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible over the weekend after bidding just over $1 million for the car at the recent Barret-Jackson Palm beach auction.

This $1 million marks the same amount Rick Hendrick paid to acquire the very first 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray coupe earlier this year, meaning his total layouts on the brand new Corvette total almost $2.1 million.
