Following the end-of-life cycle of the BMW V10 engine, Wiesmann is testing their GT MF5 at the Nurburgring using the brand new 4.4 liter V8 TwinTurbo. Used in both the X6 M and X5 M the engine produces a whopping 555bhp.
The manufacturing process will not change from the previous model but rumours suggest slightly less weight than the current model due to the new engine. Expect about 100kg of weight saved in the second-generation GT MF5 and Roadster MF5.
