German Porsche specialists RUF have released their power upgrade kit for the new 2011 Porsche Cayenne Diesel. The SUV is powered by the standard direct-injected 3.0 liter V6 turbo engine producing 240hp (176kW) and received two different power upgrade levels.
The first stage raises the engine up to 288hp (212kW) and 580Nm (428lb-ft) of torque. The extra horsepower and 30Nm (22lb-ft) of torque are created by a newly optimized electronic engine management system.
The second level develops 310hp (228 kW) and 630Nm (465 lb-ft) by including a modified turbocharger and a re-programmed ECU.
The first level swaps owner for a price of € 3,850. Stage 2 is priced at € 7,300.
