Mercedes-Benz has unveiled their latest version of the S 63 AMG. The new top-of-the-range AMG family member benefits from a newly developed powertrain.
The AMG 5.5 liter V8 biturbo engine has a peak output of up to 571hp (420kW) and a torque of up to 900Nm. The vehicle is catapulted from 100km/h (62mph) in just 4.5 seconds in normal trim or 4.4 seconds if you opt for the AMG sports package.
The engine is linked to the AMG Speedshift MCT seven-speed sports transmission. The same multi-clutch unit used in the SL 63.
Prices and availability have not been unveiled yet.
