YouTube channel, Supercar Advocates, has uploaded a clip of a road trip involving the Porsche 964 Turbo and 996 GT3. Both cars are in immaculate condition and in black exterior paint. The video above looks at the performance and look of the cars and how they fare against each other.

The Porsche 996 GT3 gets a 3.6-liter flat-six engine producing 381 hp and 385 Nm of torque that is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The car can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. It gets 6-piston calipers at the front meaning an enhanced braking performance, although the sport seats make for an uncomfortable ride. However, with the absence of stability and traction control, it is a true driver’s car and will be be loved by any petrolhead.

The 964 Turbo, on the other hand, is one of the most sought-after Porsches of the past few decades. With wide-flared arches, high quality materials inside the cabin and stunning turbocharged options (3.3-liter or 3.6-liter), this car came up in March 1990. Porsche worked hard to make sure the turbo-lag was minimum and the reason the initial models got the same 3.3-liter turbo unit of the Porsche 930 was because the German automaker did not get time to build a turbocharged unit of the 3.6-liter M64 unit found in the 964 range.
