Jaguar F-Pace Teased in New Video

Prior to the Jaguar F-Pace’s eagerly anticipated unveiling at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2015, a brand new teaser video of the car has been released. As with a teaser image released yesterday, it shows off the side profile of the British sports crossover under the city lights of Shanghai.

As expected, the production-spec F-Pace looks almost identical to the Jaguar C-X17 concept from two years ago. The headlights and taillights are very similar as is the overall shape of the car as well as its sharp roofline. This particular example is also painted in a bright shade of blue like the C-X17 concept alongside a set of twin five-spoke silver wheels.

At the front, the F-Pace will use double wishbone suspension while the rear will feature an Integral Link suspension setup. When combined with the lightweight aluminium architecture set to underpin the F-Pace, it is promising exceptional handling characteristics.

Also, the F-Pace SUV will use the British marque’s electric power-assisted steering system already used by the F-Type, XE and latest-generation XF. Arguably of more significance is that the F-Pace will also include a torque on-demand all-wheel drive system including torque vectoring technology to ensure the best possible agility in all conditions and on all surfaces.
