After being unveiled late last year, the first shots of a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Pirelli Edition on the streets have surfaced. This particular example is currently residing in Taiwan and is finished in a bright shade of yellow dubbed Giallo Spica.
That yellow paint is one of six gloss finishes available for the Aventador Pirelli Edition with the others being Rosso Mars, Bianco Isis, Nero Alderbaran, Grigio Liqueo and Grigio Ater. Whatever colour/shade the customer selects, the supercar is then fitted with the roof, pillars, wing mirrors, engine cover, and air intakes finished in matte black. A number of red accent are also found across the exterior.
Standard equipment on the Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition includes a transparent engine cover and gloss black Dione wheels measuring 20-inch at the front and 21-inch at the rear. Additionally, red brake calipers come standard but if the car is ordered in Lamborghini’s popular shade of red, Rosso Mars, the calipers are painted yellow.
Inside, the Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition features a plethora of alcantara finished components as well as red contrast stitching. Completing the changes is a special ‘Pirelli special series’ plaque.
Beyond the visual changes, the Aventador Pirelli Edition remains mechanically identical to the regular Aventador. As a result, it features the same 6.5-litre V12 engine delivering 692 hp and mated to a seven-speed ISR transmission driving all four wheels.
