Land Rover has just announced the recall of 46,000 vehicles across the United States and Canada due to an airbag issue.
More specifically, the front passenger airbag might not deploy due to a possible fault with the restraint control module. As part of the recall, the module will be replaced with a fully-functioning one.
Affected vehicles are the 2010-2015 model year Land Rover LR2 (Freelander) as well as 2012 and 2013 Range Rover Evoque models. All up, 40,551 vehicles are being recalled in the U.S. with a remaining 6000 in Canada.
