Not too long after dropping a teaser image of the upcoming Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo, the Italian marque has released an exciting teaser video of the upcoming racer while also confirming that it will debut at Pebble Beach on August 15!
The public reveal will take place at The Quail and we’ll be sure to provide live pictures from the event as soon as the covers come off.
In the following teaser video, we can see that the Huracan Super Trofeo prototype pictured features brown military style camouflage. Despite this, many of the visual changes are evident like the massive rear wing, extended front splitter as well as a stripped out interior.
When it does hit the track competitively in 2015, the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo will race in all three of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series’ around the world. These are held in Europe, Asia and North America.
Interestingly, the Huracan will share the track with the Gallardo Super Trofeo albeit the two will race in separate classes which should make next year’s Blancpain Super Trofeo Series even more exciting than normal!
The delicate task of fine tuning the new Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo has been led by chief test driver of Lamborghini, Giorgio Sanna with Lamborghini Squadra Corse test drivers Adrian Zaugg and Fabio Babini also helping to ensure the car is up to scratch for racing next year.
