The Goodwood Festival of Speed 2013 is nearing with only 36 days left for this event which is scheduled from July 11 to 14. This year will see quite a lot going and some of the news we have announced include that of the Porsche 911 taking center stage as it celebrates its 50th anniversary. McLaren which is also celebrating its 50th anniversary will showcase new and historic Can AM race cars while Alfa Romeo will showcase the Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition limited to 1000 units worldwide.

In that regard, celebrities and race drivers will also grace this event and the latest to be confirmed is a group famous F1 drivers who will be in action during this event. Firstly, seven current 2013-season F1 teams will appear at the event, they are-McLaren, Ferrari, Red Bull, Mercedes, Lotus, Caterham and Marussia.

The drivers will include frequent visitor Jenson Button and Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. Those three have been confirmed while more are expected to be announced. In recent years, drivers such as Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull Racing team mate Mark Webber have appeared. Be sure to look out for drivers such as Sir Jackie Stewart, Alain Prost, Martin Brundle, Nigel Mansell, Damon Hill, Emerson Fittipaldi, Jacky Ickx, Murray Walker, Bruno Senna, Ron Dennis, Patrick Head, Ross Brawn, Christian Horner and Adrian Newey, all of whom have appeared in recent years!
