The upcoming 2014 BMW M3 and 2014 BMW M4 were recently captured testing by AutoExpress and the following pictures are some of the best we’ve stumbled across of the two new M-powered sports cars testing.
Despite their names suggesting otherwise, the 2014 BMW M3 and 2014 BMW M4 will be nearly identical except for the fact that the M4 will only be offered as a coupe while the M3 will only be offered as a sedan.
As a result of this, the front-end styling of the cars will be identical while some subtle differences are likely at the rear as evidenced by the fact the rear-end of the 2014 BMW M4 was heavily camouflaged compared to the exposed tail of the M3.
The 2014 BMW M3 is expected to arrive first, sometime in early 2014, while the M4 will be released later that year.
Both cars will feature 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six engines delivering around 450hp. As a result, both should sprint to 100km/h in at least 4 seconds flat.
