We stumbled across this video today. Presumably shot over the weekend, it shows the moment when a Lamborghini Gallardo driver lost control of his car during a race in front of a grandstand of spectators. As if that wasn’t embarrassing enough, the driver then manages to collide with a Ford Mustang GT500 next to him.
The accident happened in Medellin, Columbia at what we think was the Formula GT500 Cup. It features a number of exotics including Ford GT’s, Ferrari’s, Lotus, Porsche’s and various other sports cars. From the videos we’ve seen, the entry criteria appears to extend to having a large rear wing!
