German tuner MTM received a new McLaren MP4-12C at their workshop today. MTM told us that it is the first McLaren MP4-12C that will receive MTM performance upgrades and an enhanced sound treatment. The McLaren sportscar that celebrated its first customer deliveries this year is without a doubt one of the fastest sportscars on the market today.
MTM will further tweak the 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 to improve the 600hp output and original 0-100km/h time of 3.1 seconds and the top speed of 330km/h. The MTM engineers start on this project as soon as possible and strive to deliver it in Q1 2012. Unless someone else pulls a rabbit out of the hat MTM will be the first company to tune the McLaren MP4-12C and we can’t wait to find out what they have been able to do to it.
