American EVI Corporation adds all the necessary equipment like lights and sirens to law enforcement vehicles. One of their latest projects is a 2012 Nissan GT-R, outfitted for an unnamed Northern Virginia police agency. The powerful Japanese car received a treatment to make it suitable for officers to use undercover and in high-speed pursuits.
The Nissan GT-R apparently showed up at EVI with only 13 miles on the clock, but is not a seizure from a criminal. How this expensive car ends up as a law-enforcement vehicle is still unknown. But which department that will use it won’t remain nameless for long. With a car like the GT-R it is hard to remain undercover.
The unnamed police agency is not the first department to adopt a Nissan GT-R for police use. The police in Abu Dhabi, UAE also uses a Nissan GT-R as an interceptor, and the same car is also used by fire department first-responders on Germany’s Nürburgring circuit.
But those who love to drive fast on the American East Coast are warned, be aware of the black Nissan GT-R!

Bet you its going to cruise the same highways that Underground Racing tests their cars.
Cheap car, Fast car, and with electronic aids, The best car by far for this kind of job.
Cops should not be allowed to drive that nice of a car. Why the heck is our tax paying money going to support this kind of idiocy?!??!?!?!
your right. they should definitely do the right thing and send it back. thats what i would do.
I think the Gt-r looks cool but no cop should drive the, if you ask me i think all cops in America should do what the NYPD is doing and have them dive Toyta Prius LOL
