Under the working name Cajun, this new smaller version version of the Cayenne will further expand the SUV sector. The Cajun will attract new and even younger customers to the premium brand along with the Boxster. The SUV is confirmed for 2014.
Porsche did not in state any information regarding the engine setup of the brand new member to the Porsche family. Expected engines will range from a 3.0 liter diesel engine producing 240bhp and 550Nm of torque to a choice between a 2.0 liter TFSI and a supercharged 3.0 liter petrol engine producing 333bhp.
Stay tuned for more information.
is it just me or do this car really looks like renault megane?
^^you re not alone man^^
oh man, that looks like one of the best things ever to come out of automotive design. it looks better than the cayenne. its what the cayenne should’ve been. if they put it into production looking like that. porsche is back in the game!
Shawn: Haha just about everything looks better than the Cayenne! :D ..and Cayenne should not have been at all. :)
I thought Porsche was supposed to stop making all 4-door models by 2014? This is a step in the wrong direction. The Cajun looks like a rebodied VW Tiguan and Audi Q3. Porsche could have chosen a much better name, too. Cajun? Brings to mind red-necks, alligators and crawfish. Porsche should stick to two doors and three number model names. The only four should exist on the 4S.
Yep, now we see the VW factor kicking IN !!!
