On October 24, 2010, SSC and Exotics at Redmond Town Center hosted a private event at the Boeing Museum of Flight, in Seattle, revolving around the viewing of the next generation SSC supercar. The event was set in the main exhibition hall with the backdrop being some of the most celebrated aircraft known, including the past Blue Angel’s jets and SR-71 Blackbird.
After dinner, SSC presented the attendees with a video depicting the 10 year history of SSC, the development of the Ultimate Aero, challenges, and triumphs. Jerod Shelby then spoke about his experience from a personal level, providing the attendees an inside perspective of what starting a supercar company entails.
Jason Castriota then discussed automotive design, his experience, and why he decided to involve himself with SSC as his first supercar project with his new design firm. Jerod and Jason then discussed the inspiration and technicalities of the next generation SSC design following the unveiling.
The pictures below give some inside into the exclusive event.
