The X5 LeMans is propelled by the V12 engine carried over from the Le Mans winning car. The X5 LeMans is a prototype. The engine produces 700hp and torque of 720Nm at 5000 rpm, from a stand-still to 100 km/h takes just 4.7 seconds. Top speed is 278 km/h (173 mph).
It tore up the Nurburgring in 7:49!! Thats not only insane for an SUV but also insane for any car. It was faster around the track than a M3 CSL, Porsche GT3, Lamborghini Murcielago, and Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale.
