Despite what the title of the following video may show, we believe this video shows the facelifted Porsche 911 Carrera S undergoing final testing at the Nurburgring. As the car was revealed at Frankfurt, the German company has ditched all of its camouflage.

The following video claims that the 911 prototype in this video is the refreshed 911 GTS. However, that seems unlikely for at least two reasons. For starters, it is far too early for the 911 GTS model to be revealed in 991.2 guise. Additionally, it is believed that alongside the GT3, the facelifted GTS will be the only 911 model available with a naturally aspirated engine. The grey test mule in the following video immediately sounds turbocharged.

As such, we think it’s the new Carrera S outfitted with the optional sports exhaust system which includes the two centrally-mounted exhausts.

The facelifted 911 Carrera S utilises a brand new twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine delivering 420 hp and 368 lb-ft of torque. When equipped with the PDK transmission and the optional Sport Chrono package, it’ll hit 100 km/h in a brisk 3.9 seconds.
