Alongside the launch of the ‘run-of-the-mill’ Jaguar F-Pace at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2015, the special F-Pace First Edition model has also been introduced. It will be limited to just 2000 units, of which 200 will be available in the country’s home country (the UK).

The 2016 Jaguar F-Pace First Edition model bares even more similarities to the original C-X17 Concept than the regular F-Pace. As such, it is available in Caesium Blue and Halycon Gold which were two of the shades revealed alongside the original C-X17 Concept models. Additionally, the F-Pace First Edition can be painted in Rhodium Silver or Ultimate Black.

A number of other bespoke elements are also apparent. They include 22-inch twin five-spoke alloy wheels, sports seats wrapped in Windsor Leather, new carpets throughout and a slightly bolder bodykit. More significantly, the F-Pace First Edition comes complete with the British marque’s Adaptive Damping system, full-LED headlights, sliding panoramic roof, InControl Touch Pro Infotainment system, interior mood lighting and illuminated tread plates. All of these features are optional extras on the normal F-Pace.

The Jaguar F-Pace First Edition is available with the 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine delivering 300 hp as well as the 3.0-litre V6 supercharged petrol engine delivering 380 hp.

Discussing the car, chief marketing officer for Jaguar Land Rover, Gerd Mauser said “With only 2,000 units available globally, we expect the Jaguar F-Pace First Edition to sell out – we are receiving an incredible amount of interest from customers who want to be the first and who want the best.”
