Mercedes-Benz GLE Priced in the U.S

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV released earlier in the year has just been priced in the United States.

Designed to replace the M-Class, the GLE will sit U.S. customers back a minimum of $52,025 excluding the obligatory $925 destination charge. For that price, buyers get the base GLE350 variant while the 4Matic all-wheel drive system brings that price up to $54,525.

Moving up in the range is the diesel GLE300d priced at $53,425 as well as the GLE400 4Matic costing $65,525. The beastly Mercedes-AMG GLE63 then costs $100,875 while the range-topping GLE63S is priced from $108,025. In the near future, the plug-in hybrid GLE500e will also be offered for sale in the United States but it has yet to be priced.

As a reminder, the expensive Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S features the German firm’s staple 5.5-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine delivering a total of 577 hp as well as 561 lb-ft of torque. As a result of this power and torque, the potent GLE derivative will rocket to 100 km/h in a mere 4.2 seconds as well as an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). It returns 23.9 mpg on the combined cycle and 278 g/km of CO2 emissions.
