Video: 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C Spied on Michigan Expressway

The Alfa Romeo 4C is unquestionably the most hotly-anticipated car to be launched by the historic Italian firm since the all-conquering 8C Competizione supercar.

Alfa Romeo recently released a teaser image of the upcoming entry-level sports car to welcome in the new year. The new model was scheduled for the American Market in 2014. New reports from the Fiat and Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne show that the Alfa Romeo 4C Sports car will be delayed.

A 4C prototype was recently spotted testing on a Michigan expressway last Friday. The video was shot by an astute Autoweek Magazine reader and although no more details have been released about the car, it’s still speculated that it could be launched as soon as the 2013 Geneva Motor Show this coming March featuring a 1.75-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine pumping out at least 200hp.

Consequently, the Toyota GT86, Scion FRS and Subaru BRZ may have a fight on their hands from the Italian’s.
