Ahead of Auto Shanghai 2017 Audi revealed new sketches previewing the futuristic Audi e-tron Sportback Concept that the brand will debut at the show. The e-tron Concept is based on a four-door coupé-style SUV with distinctive LED lighting.

The concept car’s clean interior evolves around what looks like Audi’s future virtual cockpit. There’s space for four passengers total and screens in the rear seating area hint at backseat passengers having their own infotainment system.

As the name e-tron suggests, the concept is an all-electric model. Whether it is in any way related to the in 2015 revealed e-tron quattro concept is yet to be confirmed. The latter concept from 2015 combined a three-motor setup good for a combined output of over 500 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque.

The top speed of that model was rated at 210 km/h, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. Additionally the car’s driving range was rated at an impressive 500 kilometers (311 miles). Despite being a concept, the show car could very well have some significant influence on one of the brand’s future production models.
