We usually don’t see tuner G-Power tinker with cars other than BMW too often, but the company seems to have taken an interest in the Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupé.
As per standard recipe G-Power have done some serious upgrading under the hood of the car and slapped a shiny set of wheels on to finish it off. An output of 705 hp was realized by the use of their Bi-Tronik 5 V1 power module, which can be seen as a plug and play device placed between the factory ECU and engine.
The power module is said to remain inactive at the majority of times but kicks in when the driver pushes fully down on the throttle. This is the moment it liberates an extra 120 hp and 100 Nm of torque bringing the total to a fierce 705 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque.
The power upgrade brings the S63 Coupé to 100 km/h in a much faster 3.8 seconds, while topping out the speedometer somewhere beyond 325 km/h.
In particular the wheels that G-Power offers with this power upgrade are ultra-light 21-inch G-Power HURRICANE RR forged wheels made out of high-tech aeroplane aluminum.
Is 3.8s much faster than 3.9s S63 4matic in your book ? I don’t think so
