A 4,499cc V8 engine with a F1 dual-clutch gearbox and a 1380 kg dry weight are just some examples of the greatness that Ferrari can achieve when constructing a car. The weight-to-power ratio of 2.42 kg per hp is brutal and propels the 458 Italia from 0 to 100km/h in under 3.4 seconds. Today’s Photo Of The Day however shows none of that performance.

The design of the car comes courtesy of Pininfarina, and it shows, not only in the form of reduced drag and improved aerodynamics but with a menacing front that looks striking even when perfectly parked between the lines. Giallo Modena makes the sharp lines come alive and the contrast between night time shooting and LED lighting on the headlights make this shot stand out. If total calm and peaceful images are not your thing, head to the 458 Speciale video and have fun.
