Mercedes-Benz has just teased an upcoming concept version of the long-awaited Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG!
Very few details about the car are known with Mercedes-Benz not even confirming if it is indeed the GLA 45 AMG. However, in the teaser video the GLA 45 AMG badging and a number plate reading the designation can be seen. However, the fact that Mercedes is pinning it as the AMG Concept Car indicates that it may not be a production ready vehicle.

Either way, it certainly looks impressive. Featuring a white colour scheme with red, grey and black accents, the Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG Concept looks just as aggressive as the A 45 AMG Edition 1 and even features a similar paint scheme and similar roof spoiler and carbon fiber front canards.

Under the hood, expect the Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG to feature the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine as both the CLA 45 AMG and A 45 AMG. That engine delivers a total of 355 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a dual-clutch seven-speed transmission driving all four wheels. However, it is possible that this concept variant will receive a boost in power.
It is currently unclear when Mercedes-Benz plans to unveil this brutally potent SUV, but it should be very soon.
