If reputation is anything to go by, the 24 Hours of LeMons is the race for the weird, wacky and downright dangerous.

And thanks to the video above, that reputation isn’t going away anytime soon. No your eyes don’t deceive you, that is an updside down Camaro racing around New Jersey Motorsport park.

The car, entered by LeMons veteran Speedycop, uses the body from a 1999 Camaro turned upside down and welded to a 1990 Ford Festiva chassis. The entire package is propelled by the Festiva’s stock 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine, making it the one of the slowest race cars of all time.

As you might assume, what with that lack of power and absurd aerodynamics, the upside down race car finished dead last. Hey, at least they had fun!
