Epic Pagani Huayra Ride in Italy

A video has surfaced through an American who recently took a ride with Davide Testi, Pagani’s ace test driver. It shows what the Pagani Huayra is really capable in the hands of somebody who knows the car, the roads and possess expert driving skills. Needless to say, don’t try this at home! If you haven’t already, check out Chris Harris’ excellent review, completed just a day before!

The Huayra is powered by a Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo V12. Displacement is 5,980cc and power peaks at 730 horsepower and 1,000Nm of torque. The power and enormous torque is transferred to the rear wheels via a seven-speed sequential gearbox cross and a singe-disc clutch. This enables the Huayra to accelerate from standstill to 100km/h in 3.3 seconds, while its top speed is an impressive 370km/h. This can be heard in the video below.

  1. You guys must really like me ! Two Pagani videos in one week ! Oh wait …… I get it . This is to make amends for my not being eligible for the new contest :o)

  2. Where’s the SOUNDTRACK? ??? We’re used to seeing these roads near Modena with the furious sound of italian V12s…. but no, nothing, just spinning turbos…. Gimme Lambos !

  3. @ gluglu – Tell you what . You bring on your AudiGhini …. any model .. and I’ll take you on in this or any model Pagani . Heads up . Mano e mano . Guaranteed …. you’ll lose . Then … lets take both to Monaco or anywhere on the French /Italian Riviera and see which one’s the bigger Chick Magnate . Guaranteed , your pretentious little AudiGhini will come up very short again ( pun intended ) on each and every comparison

  4. The sound inside the cabin is epically blender indeed, but to be fair it’s better outside. Not a screaming bitch like the zonda though… on chris harris’ video it sounds more like an SLS or a supercharged (big) V8.
