At Goodwood 2011 we visited the paddocks next to the 1.1 mile hill climb track. In the paddocks we spotted numerous sports cars and endurance racers. The line-up was larger than last year and included pioneering gigants, touring cars, Nascar cars, ultimate rally cars, classic endurance racers, sports prototypes and Jaguar’s Le Mans challengers.
The divers variety of cars attracted a large group of enthusiastic visitors checking out each single car; historical to current. Our favorites were the McLaren F1 GTR Longtail, Audi R18 TDI, Mazda 787, Fiat Mefistofele with its 21,7 liter aircraft engine and the world’s most powerful sports car, the Porsche 917/30.
