Spyshots: BMW Sports Car Concept Headed For IAA 2009

Spyshots BMW Sports Car Concept

According to Bimmerpost, BMW is a planning to unveil a BMW Sports Car Concept at the IAA 2009 next month. Dr. Klaus Draeger, member of BMW’s board of management, told AutoTelegraaf a week ago they will show a sustainable sports concept car in Frankfurt. Same concept?

We do think so. The concept will feature sustainable design and material elements. It is supposed to be a study in a future BMW 2 seater sports car which will contain BMW’s latest environmental / efficiency technology. Anything from lightweight materials, stop-start systems, regenerative braking, direction injection are packed inside the concept.

The cover doesn’t the full design. We have to wait and see until Frankfurt starts before we can experience the new design from German carmaker.
