Danish Mercedes-Benz tuner Kleemann has put his hands on the yet fantastic SL65 AMG Black Series. Tuning a supercar is mostly about a ‘lack’ of power, but this SL65 does have 670 bhp yet! Clearly not enough, that’s why Kleeman engineers created the 65-K2 kit. All we know so far is that it has an output of 720 bhp together with 1,150 Nm of torque. Official sprint and topspeed figures will surely be better than the 3.8 second sprint and 200 mph (320 kmh) topspeed of the standard SL65!
Stay tuned to find out more about this superb car soon!

I don’t like this. Don’t mess with the Black Series!
I don’t think it’s based on the sl65 black series, the first picture is a drop top whereas the black series is fixed head.
The official Kleemann site does talk about the Black Series. But there are no official pictures released yet, that’s probably why it’s a droptop there. They also have a package for the SL 350…
I’m not sure that “convertible” and “black series” are a good match. I also wonder what magic formula they found to put that much torque on the road (and not on typre smoke).
