Video – Winter car testing capital

Test Porsche 997 MKII

We all know that every car, going from the Dacia Logan over a Toyota Avensis and Mercedes S-class to a Lamborghini Gallardo is brought to the coldest and warmest places on earth to see how they react on extreme temperatures. We found a video to show you the ‘winter car testing capital’ that can be found in the far North of Swedish Lapland. The nearest town is at 150 miles (240 km) and that’s probably why most car manufacturers choose this place to test their new models. There’s also a good explanation why cars have ABS and why we should leave our Electronic Stability Programm (ESP) mostly turned on! Sit back and enjoy!
