After the announcement of the French supercar in 2006 we heard nothing about it anymore. But last week Venturi said that they upgraded the Fetish again. At the introduction of the lightweight car it had 240 bhp and 220 Nm or torque. In the update of the Fetish the engineers gave the electric engine 300 bhp and 380 Nm of torque, which enables a sprint to 62 mph (100 kmh) in only 3,5 seconds. This sprint is very quick and something wherefrom it’s American competitor Tesla only can dream about.
Knowing that the Tesla is three times cheaper than the Venturi must solve this problem of not being the fastest electric car anymore! First Venturi should roll out of the factory by June 2009…
