Shortly after Carlsson presenting the tuning package for the Mercedes C-class, the guys from Brabus have put their hands on the estate model of the C-class and came out with this modified version that will be presented on the Essen Motor Show as part of its new sports program for the wagon range. The product lineup includes engine tuning for petrol and diesel models, an aerodynamic enhancement program, light-alloy rimms up to 19inch and custom interior options.
For the petrol-powered engines in the C280 and C350 V6 models there is the Brabus 4.0 liter engine modification. The new power source will have 332 bhp and a max. torque of 420Nm, giving the five-door a performance boost. The C-class accelerates from 0-62mph (100kmh) in just 5.9 seconds and has top speed of 172 mph (275kmh).
For the diesel (CDI) engines Brabus offers it’s PowerXtra kits. They start with the D2 kit that boosts power output of the C200 CDI with an extra 39 bhp. This is followed by the D3 kit for the C220 CDI, which offers 220 bhp and peak torque of 480Nm.
The top-of-the-line turbodiesel, C320 CDI gets an extra 48 bhp with the D6 power kit. Peak torque grows to 590Nm. Thanks to that the C-class sprints from 0–62mph (100kmh) in just 6.9 seconds and reaches max.speed at the limited 156 mph (250kmh).
