Marvel Entertainment’s new blockbuster in the Captain America sequel will be released in U.S. cinemas on May 6th 2016. The new movie stars some of Hollywood’s most famous actors such as Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans and the even more famous 2017 Audi R8 V10 Plus, 2017 Audi SQ7 TDI, 2017 Audi A4 and 2016 Audi A7 Sportback.
Partnering up with Marvel Entertainment should put some of Audi’s latest cars into the spotlight. It’s not the first time Audi works together with Marvel Entertainment, as some of Audi’s cars were featured in some of the most popular Hollywood franchises over the years. These include earlier movies in the Captain America sequel but also box office hit Iron Man starring Robert Downey Jr.
Just today an exclusive digital video called “The Chase” was released as part of Audi’s campaign. The campaign’s videos too are under supervision of Captain America: Civil War film directors Anthony and Joe Russo. With this video Audi excites the fans of the popular sequel previewing a major scene starring the all-new Audi SQ7 TDI. It’s no coincidence it’s Audi’s upcoming SQ7 that is in the spotlight, as sales are expected to commence early summer.
In addition to the today released video, a 30-second commercial part of Audi’s extensive marketing campaign will begin airing globally as of mid-April. In the movie itself Audi supports Super Heroes on both sides of the divide with their new models. Captain America (Chris Evans) will be driving the all-new Audi SQ7 while the Audi R8 is yet again reserved for Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.).
An Audi spokesman said the following: “Even as the mighty Avengers break into Civil War, their affinity for best-in class, high performance and state of the art technology in their vehicles ties them together,” said Loren Angelo, Director of Marketing, Audi of America. “Audi is excited to be a mainstay for the Marvel franchise and to support their cast of Super Heroes with a fleet of superior Audi vehicles.”
